What we realy nead is a government that will actually takle things like gang culture and Violent Crime et cetera instead claiming to be doing somthing when in reality all they are doing is making usless laws that will make sod all impact.

Just to touch on the guns side of things again as far as I am concerned I have had an FAC and owned magnums and rifles etc but I now think airsoft is more fun and many others would if they tried it or even knew it existed.
I talk to many people into militaria and guns etc and when I mention I am an airsofter a confused look takes over their face as they have never heard of the term.
As far as they are concerned they are all just toys and have no use out side of something for kids to play with.

There is the whole macho thing going on in some gun clubs, when someone tried to organise a paintball day, I can remember one guy used to keep saying no thanks I

Thats story is rather misleading. The section of the VCRA that applies to Realistic Imitation Firearms does not come into effect until the 6th October.

There are two dates in the callendar that normal legislation comes into effect, the 6th April and the 6th October.
